How to use color corrector

Condividi

They may look like the last thing that you would want to put on your face, but liquid color correctors can hide a multitude of sins. They work by using opposing colors to counteract specific flaws in your complexion. For example, green will lone down redness; blue will make a flushed complexion look paler; white will help cover up dark undereye circles and improve dullness; and purple will give a yellowish complexion a healthier glow. Worn underneath foundation, they provide a good base for the rest of your makeup and help it stay fresh longer.

1- Choose the best color corrector for your JL complexion; green is used here lo help counteract redness and broken veins. Keep your hair off your face by tying it back or using a hair band or scarf, and cleanse and moisturize the face and neck (see pages 58-61). Wait about five minutes for the moisturizer lo be absorbed.

2 - Pour a little color corrector onto a cosmetic sponge and spread a film of it either all over the face, or just onto specific problem areas such as the checks. Check that the coverage is even and reapply the corrector where necessary.

3 - Apply liquid foundation as normal, making sure that the green docs not show through.

Pour a little while color corrector onto one hand and dab some onto your third finger. Smooth fingertip over the dark circle under the eye, making sure ihc coverage is even.

The finished effect: Liquid foundation has been applied over the corrector and to the rest of the face, concealing dark undereye circles and giving a smooth finish.
